From Farm to ABODE

We’re committed to serving Vancouver fresh, local ingredients, so when selecting suppliers quality is top of mind. One supplier we’re particularly enthusiastic about is Gelderman Farms, a reputable family farm known for their ethical practices.

Starting from humble roots on their family farm in Abbotsford, B.C., where they’re still located today, the Gelderman name has become synonymous with the safest, healthiest and most delicious pork products available in the Lower Mainland.

Owners Jerry and Audrey Gelderman both grew up in the Fraser Valley, and over the past 30 years have expanded their family farm into a thriving business, distributing their farm-raised pork to health-conscious individuals. The animals at Gelderman Farms have the freedom to run around, and they’re fed a “100 mile diet,” which means that all their food is sourced within a 100 mile radius.

We proudly feature Gelderman Farms’ products at ABODE. Add their delicious, crisp smoked bacon to anything on our on our Spring 2014 breakfast menu, including our all new Handle Your Scramble breakfast sandwich. Or, tuck some into the brand new “Marilyn” Omelette. Like things classic, do you? Try our Two Eggs Your Style, with your choice of bacon or sausage.
